SUPPORT OUR MIDWEST DIRECT DONATION CAMPAIGN THROUGH NOVEMBER 6TH!

We are hosting a donation based fundraiser to help our chamber orchestra students get to the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic in December. We are honored to be one of six high school string orchestras in the world invited to perform at this year’s clinic. This is a costly venture, so we really appreciate any support we can get. Klein Cain Chamber Orchestra Ranks #8 in the State!

This year, our varsity orchestra entered the Texas Music Educators Association Honor String Orchestra Competition. This consists of high school string orchestras throughout the state submitting recordings that are judged against each other and ranked. We are so proud to share that the Klein Cain Chamber Orchestra advanced to the final round (top 9) and ultimately placed 8th in the entire state! It is an incredible honor to be listed amongst so many amazing programs. This is a HUGE accomplishment for our students, as they put in hours and hours of rigorous work to polish and perfect their parts. We are so proud of how they came together as a team to make this happen. Congratulations to our Chamber Orchestra students for all their hard work!

GOT PRIVATE LESSONS? 

Private lessons are one of the most valuable investments you can make in your child's music education. While many people may think of these lessons as "private tutoring" in order to "catch up,", private music lessons are actually meant to advance each student at their own pace, while working on music that they will not work on in class. Most of the time, music that students work on in lessons is much more difficult than orchestra class music, because they are receiving a personalized individual curriculum that addresses their technical needs. Regular private lessons with a quality lessons instructor can help students advance at a much faster rate.  If you are thinking about it, you should go for it! See our list of recommended instructors below. If you have questions about who to take lessons from or need a recommendation, contact Mrs. Mohi.
